Business Venture

My friend is planning to invest in a new business but I advised her to do a market research or a feasibility study before anything else. A large sum of money is involved so I am quite hesitant to agree with her and besides she doesn't have any background or know-how about the products and services involved in this new business venture. She can't just rely on her business partner to do all the managing and marketing because that is just plain silly. I just hope I made sense to her and that she will consider my advice.
