Grandpa at 89 was a picture to behold! Every afternoon, he would sit on his rocking chair at the porch, face the old oak tree on his yard and ceremoniously smoke a stick of altadis cigar. Reminiscing the days of old when Grandma was around, he'd smoke away contentedly. Pop got Grandpa’s Altadis at www.famous-smoke.com. Pop said he’s doing Grandpa service in his last days. Altadis and Grandma must have meant comfort to him.

The Wedding Proposal
I have never been happier when my best friend’s boyfriend in ten years finally proposed to her before last year ended. It was a surprise wedding proposal made in front of our closest friends during our Christmas party. We were screaming, dancing and crying – all because of the joy that we felt the moment her boyfriend knelt and handed the ring to her.
My best friend was really shocked and speechless. She could not believe what she was hearing and seeing at that very moment. We waited for her response for a really long time. She let him stand up because he has been kneeling for more than ten minutes. As she was still trying to be back in her senses, we asked the guy questions about the ring because it was very nice! So while waiting for the response, he went on telling of the story at how he chose the ring from the many wedding ring sets that were presented to hi m from the number of jewelry shops that he visited. He mentioned that the beautifully-crafted ring shows my best friend’s elegance and beauty inside and out.
The wedding proposal happened sooner than we expected, though. They had just gotten back in the relationship after they broke up and was not together for a year. Everyone in the circle was saddened when they decided to call it quits after almost a decade of being together. But, after a year, we rejoiced when we heard the news that the two are back to each other’s arms. It is going to be the most anticipated wedding of this year 2012!

Awesome Gifts
I appreciate the guest post, Jewel Rodgers
I was online the other day looking for a CLEAR internet provider in my area, but instead stumbled upon some really great gifts for my family. It’s funny how searching fro things online can really lead you astray sometimes! I’m easily distracted by good deals, so I probably should have known this would happen. I was trying to come up with something to buy my mom for a while, and found a great spa deal in town for her. I got her a full spa day that includes a manicure, pedicure, facial and blow out. I was so excited because I know her and my dad are going to a big black tie wedding this winter and I figured she would want to feel and look her best. My mom is the type who would never splurge on this for herself, so thought it was perfect. It was such a good deal that I also got one for my sister and I so that we can join in on the fun. I hope they like it! I get so excited when I find great deals like this that I can’t contain myself. Hopefully I’ll be able to keep my mouth shut until Christmas and not spoil the surprise!

Tradition
Content by Kyle Lowe
It’s been a tradition in my family for years on the day before new year’s to all get together and watch movies on my TV. This year I sprung for www.expertsatellite.com channels so now we’ve got about a bazillion movies to choose from which should make everyone happy since a lot of my family had been complaining about how long it took to find what they wanted to watch. Anyway, it’s up to the host to get the house clean and everyone else has to bring a dish to share so it’s going to be fun this year since we’re doing Italian food. I love Italian and I always have and since my mom’s side is full blooded it should be a pretty good showing this year. I know last year by the time new year’s day rolled around everyone wanted to do anything but eat – we were all so grossed out by how much we’d eaten the day before we just wanted to sleep the day away! Not this year though…my resolution is moderation!
