October 2009 Teachers Board Exam Results

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 8,045 elementary teachers out of 43,086 examinees (18.67%), 26 Accelerated Teacher Education Program (A.T.E.P.) graduates out of 146 examinees (17.81%) and 10,792 secondary teachers out of 38,339 examinees (28.15%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) given by the Board for Professional Teachers on October 4, 2009 in 23 testing centers all over the Philippines. The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Brenda B. Corpuz, Officer-In-Charge; Dr. Reynaldo T. Peña and Dr. Faith M. Bachiller, Members.

To Do List

Well, since I forgot what to blog today, lemme just share my to-do list. Here goes:

- Clean and organize the kitchen.
- Do the laundry.
- Clean the bathroom.

I don't have much on my list today because the tasks that I listed will take a lot of time. And besides, I have a baby to take care of and he's my priority so I have to take it easy on the house chores.

I am supposed to blog about "something" here but I forgot what it is. Toinks! Is this what they call memory gap? Should I stop eating beans and pork? Hehe! Well, this isn't the first time it happened to me. I guess next time it's better jot down topics that I wanted to blog about so I will never forget.

When the Going Gets Tough...

It is a fact that we are experiencing global financial crisis, small and even big companies are all affected by it. We’ve seen companies collapse. But do you want to see more of it? Do you want to experience the same as the downfall of others? I’m definitely sure that you don’t want to. I have a friend and she shared her secret on how she was able to keep her business running during this tough time. She told me that it is very important to manage the accounting side of the business very well. Without it, any business is doomed to bankruptcy. But she’s confident her business will survive because she have with her the Las Vegas cpa firm doing its best to keep her business going.

The Sign

I had a little accident two weeks ago and thank God I survived with just minor injuries - a scratch and bruise on my thigh and back area. But this poor thing below was less fortunate. The damage was beyond repair so hubby had no choice but to throw it away.

Poor chair... I guess God is telling me something. I guess HE is telling me that now's the time for me to push through with my weight loss plan and start watching my diet. Hubby didn't say anything when I fell down from the chair but I know in the back of his mind he's suggesting the same thing. He just didn't say it out loud because he doesn't want to add to my embarrassment. LOL!

Super Sale!

Last weekend was crazy! Almost all the big stores had a super sale. From clothes, shoes, bedding, jewelry, kitchen appliances and accessories, electronics, computers, laptops, cameras, etc. - everything was on sale! I really had a hard time deciding where and what to shop. Glad I had my hubbykins to help me. He suggested I buy items for our families back home since our balikbayan box is due to be sent at the end of this month and it's not even full yet. If only I had enough money, I would have gotten my sister a new digital camera and my bro a netbook. But I was afraid of maxing out my credit card so I had to control myself from splurging.
